Next-Gen Gaming Phones Are Here: Active Cooling + Waterproofing — A Game-Changer

RedMagic boasts its 10 Pro flagship phone as the ultimate Android gaming phones because of its nearly PC-grade cooling system that even includes its own little fan. The second generation of this tech is now rumored to address one of its biggest weaknesses. It could be threatened by competition at potentially more competitive prices with quicker screens, though.

RedMagic introduced its latest 10 Pro flagship as the “No Limits” gaming smartphone, mostly because it is the only one that cools the cutting-edge Snapdragon 8 Elite processor with a miniature fan rated to go at up to 23,000 rpm.

It might be argued that the 10 Pro is limited in where it can go, including not anywhere near water since its open-vent system nullifies the IP68 ratings obtained by competitors like the OnePlus 13.

Some future flagship smartphone with the same function will finally take the step to that degree of ingress protection, the leaker Digital Chat Station claims.

The alleged “RedMagic 11 Pro” might face competition from another smartphone maker, though. It is said to be on the verge of entering the gaming smartphone market under its Oppo and/or OnePlus brands with features, including an active spinning fan, very much the same.

The phone might be launched as a mid-range Oppo K series device, which might enable it to undercut RedMagic (although the 10 Pro now retails from Amazon for as low as $749).

Oppo has also been said to be working on a mobile gaming screen capable of surpassing even the 144Hz 10 Pro with the even more impressive refresh rate of 165Hz, let alone shoulder buttons like on the new RedMagic 10 Air.

The name of this super-fast screen phone is yet to be disclosed, although OnePlus is also reported to be now on the verge of introducing an all-new Ultimate Edition of its high-speed Ace 5 smartphone.
