iQoo Z10 Turbo Pro: 7,000mAh Power Beast with 120W Fast Charge

The iQoo Z10 Turbo Pro officially stands to become the world’s fastest-charging 7,000mAh battery smartphone later this April 2025. iQoo now also confirmed that its screen will also beat industry average with 144Hz refresh rate. There may be less premium features in its “super-frame” display, though.
iQoo claims the new Z10 Turbo Pro will beat the competition with a 144Hz refresh rate for its current-gen 1.5K display in its new official teasers.
In the meantime, the old reliable leaker Digital Chat Station has weighed in with reports that it will be a bright, stable power-saving panel with DC dimming and a virtually class-leading 4,320Hz PWM spec.
It is also tipped to have an LTPS backplane instead of higher-spec LTPO, though. The Z10 Turbo Pro allegedly sports LPDDR5X Ultra RAM to complement its new Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 SoC. Those internals will supposedly be kept cool by a ~7,000mm2 vapor chamber – which would complement its 7,000mAh battery.
The Turbo Pro claims to give its gigantic source of power a 50% charge in just 15 minutes with the help of the 120 watt (W) wired charging technology present in iQoo’s latest flagship Android phone the 13 (available now at INR 54,999 on Amazon.in).
However, it will be beaten by its non-Pro variant, which is also scheduled to come out on the same day as the world’s first 7,620mAh phone. The Z10 Turbo is also now confirmed to achieve that with the Dimensity 8400 chip on April 28, 2025.

Meet Xring: Xiaomi’s New Brain

Xiaomi is making headlines as it gears up to launch its very first self-developed mobile processor—the Xring. Slated for an official debut in late May, this chip isn’t just another hardware upgrade. It marks a major turning point in Xiaomi’s journey toward becoming more self-reliant in the smartphone industry.
The Brains Behind Xring
At the heart of the Xring project is Qin Muyun, a former executive at Qualcomm. With years of chipmaking expertise under his belt, Qin is leading Xiaomi’s internal processor team. His presence signals that Xiaomi isn’t just dabbling in silicon—it’s diving in headfirst with serious intent to compete with industry titans like Qualcomm and MediaTek.
Built for Performance, Designed for Strategy
Xiaomi has opted to manufacture the Xring using TSMC’s 4nm N4P process—a smart move to sidestep the international sanctions and export limitations that have hampered companies like Huawei. By avoiding the cutting-edge 3nm tech (which is often restricted), Xiaomi is playing it safe and smart, ensuring smoother global rollout and fewer supply chain hiccups.
What’s Inside the Xring?
Under the hood, the Xring is an 8-core processor built for both muscle and efficiency. It features:
- 1x Cortex-X925 core clocked at 3.2GHz for heavy-duty tasks
- 3x Cortex-A725 cores running at 2.6GHz
- 4x Cortex-A520 cores at 2.0GHz
This setup offers a balanced approach to performance and power saving—ideal for both demanding apps and everyday tasks.
Graphics Get a Boost
On the graphics front, Xiaomi went with the Imagination IMG DXT72 GPU, clocked at 1.3GHz. Early leaks and benchmarks suggest that the Xring’s performance could rival Snapdragon’s 8 Gen 2—a promising sign for Xiaomi’s future flagship phones.
Why This Move Matters
By creating its own chip, Xiaomi is no longer just another phone manufacturer relying on third-party silicon. It’s now taking tighter control over how its hardware and software work together—especially with its custom HyperOS. That means faster updates, deeper optimization, and an even more unified experience across its product lineup.

This strategic leap is part of Xiaomi’s broader ambition: to emerge as a global tech powerhouse. And developing its own processor is a bold but necessary step to get there.
What’s Next?
The full reveal of the Xring chip will happen at a launch event in May, and fans are eagerly waiting to see how it performs in real-world usage. Whether it can truly rival the giants remains to be seen—but one thing’s for sure: Xiaomi isn’t just playing catch-up anymore. It’s aiming to lead.
What Do You Think?
Can Xiaomi’s Xring processor shake up the market? Will it stack up against Snapdragon and MediaTek chips? Share your thoughts in the comments—we’d love to hear from you!

Motorola Edge 60 Pro Launches in India with 90W Charging

Motorola is gearing up to bring its newly launched Edge 60 Pro to Indian shores, and it’s arriving with a bang. Already available in Europe for $599, this sleek and stylish smartphone is now heading to India with a powerful mix of performance, aesthetics, and charging tech.
At the heart of the Edge 60 Pro is MediaTek’s latest Dimensity 8350 processor, offering smooth performance for everything from gaming to multitasking. It’s paired with a visually stunning 1.5K P-OLED display that can hit an impressive 4,500 nits peak brightness, making it a treat for movie lovers and mobile gamers alike.
But that’s not all—Motorola is pulling out all the stops with its camera system. The phone sports a triple 50MP camera setup with support for 50X digital zoom and enhanced Moto AI camera features, promising high-end photography experiences on the go.
Battery life won’t be a concern either. The Edge 60 Pro packs a massive 6,000mAh battery that has earned the DxOMark Gold rating for its endurance. It supports 90W TurboPower fast charging—one of the fastest in Motorola’s lineup—and also includes 15W wireless charging, a welcome bonus.

Vivo X200 Ultra Shines with Zeiss Power – But Is It the Best Camera Phone of 2025?

The Vivo X200 Ultra is already creating waves, especially among early adopters and reviewers in China. A quick scroll through Chinese social media and you’ll find stunning photos—and even an entire product video for the Porsche 911—shot exclusively with Vivo’s latest flagship.
Excitement isn’t limited to China, though. Two English-language video reviews have also surfaced online, giving the rest of the world a closer look at Vivo’s newest powerhouse. So, let’s dive into what makes the Vivo X200 Ultra special—and where it still has room to grow.
First Impressions: A New Zeiss Masterpiece
The Vivo X200 Ultra has only been on the market in China for about a week, but it’s already dominating conversations, thanks to its impressive Zeiss camera system. International reviewers, like Gizmochina and Ben’s Gadget Reviews, have shared early hands-on videos that are easy to digest for global audiences.
Breaking Down the Camera Setup
A screenshot from a popular Chinese review offers a great glimpse into how Vivo’s triple-camera setup stands apart from the competition. Unlike many flagship phones that rely on a dominant main sensor and weaker secondary cameras, Vivo takes a more balanced approach. All three sensors on the X200 Ultra are roughly the same size, which means you’ll get consistently strong performance across different focal lengths.
That said, if you’re specifically chasing the absolute best image quality at the 23mm or 24mm focal lengths, you might find better results with rivals like the Oppo Find X8 Ultra, Xiaomi 15 Ultra, or Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra. However, for a wider range of shooting styles, Vivo’s thoughtful triple-sensor strategy pays off beautifully.

Final Thoughts
The Vivo X200 Ultra is shaping up to be a true contender in the world of high-end camera smartphones. It’s bold, innovative, and already proving its worth with professional-grade content production. While perfection might still be out of reach at certain focal lengths, Vivo’s latest flagship certainly raises the bar—and gives smartphone photography enthusiasts plenty to get excited about.
